The Israel Arab Horse Society (IAHS) is the recognized authority responsible for the registration and promotion of purebred Arabian horses in Israel. The Society publishes and maintains the Israel Arab Horse Registry and is a recognized registered charity. Currently there are approximately 5,000 living purebred Arabian horses in Israel and our Society members number more than 400.

Welcome to our new expanded website, where you can read about our news and events in English and get better acquainted with Israel's beautiful Arabian horses and their owners. Check out our on-line Stud Book, an easy to use research tool which will give you access to all the Arabian bloodlines found in Israel both today and in the past.

Each year our Society organizes and / or sponsors several shows, including the annual Spring Show and the Galilee Festival of the Arabian Horse. Our most important show is the annual Israel National Championship Arabian Show, generally held in October and organized according to ECAHO rules.

We also sponsor endurance and trail rides, support Arabian track racing, and occasionally organize seminars for our members on topics of interest concerning the Arabian horse.

We encourage anyone interested in Arabian horses who is planning a visit to Israel to contact our office. In particular, if you are planning to be in Israel around the time of our National Championship Show, please be sure to contact us beforehand so that we can arrange for you to attend the show as our VIP guest.
